of the San Souci hotel. I liked this hotel a lot. The owners were very nice and helpful, and the location was great. |

Vernon and Irene Lindfors
in my parents apartment in the hotel. It was so exciting to meet them for the first time. They arrived a little early on Sunday November 12th, so we (my family and I) were out of the hotel, shopping of course! When we arrived back at the hotel, I saw the car from our kitchen window, and in the frontwindow of the car was a photo of me. So then I knew they had arrived. I went looking for them and finally got to meet them. |

My dad Gills, Roger and I.
Next I kept my eyes open for Roger and Janet. And it was so nice to see them as well. We talked and huged and welcomed them up to our room. Here we are looking at some of the family research. |

Me on the phone...
Roger called his sisters, Helen, Mardelle and Eloise so I could talk to them. And also his son Robert. That was a lot of fun! I was a bit shy speaking on the phone, but everyone was so nice and interested so that heleped a lot. |

Resturant.
Later in the evening we were going out to dinner. Here are we infront of the resturant. The food was nice but the service was NOT good. But I think all of us had a nice time because we had such good company - eachother. |

We gathered down in the garden and then I asked one of the owners to take some photos for us. Didn't they turn out very good? |

Leaving...
At around 12 in the afternoon on November 13th, Vernon & Irene and Roger & Janet had to leave us. It was sad, but had to be done.
Here you see Vernonand Irene going to their car, way down the street. And janet is getting into their car, Roger is already inside the car. |

Sunday November 21st.
We went to see Roger and Janet at their home. They had asked us to come for a visit and of course we were thrilled to go see them. Janet had prepared a traditional thanksgiving dinner for us. That was so special. I had never had a meal like that before. janet is a great cook! Here she is infront of dinner. I took a photo of the dinnertable as well, but unfortunatly it didn't turn out good. |

Roger and Janet took us to theHistoric Bok Sanctuary. That was such a nice place. Very calm and beautiful. One of the nicest places I have been to in Florida- over the years. (This was my 7th. trip to Florida, but the last time I was there was 6 years ago and I hadn't started my genealogy then, so I didn't know I had family there...Unfortunatly!) |

We are standing by the Bok Tower, it's a 205-ft. carillon (60 bells) tower. It was designed by Milton B. Medary. |

Birthday party
Roger turned 80 y.o. on November 18th and also my dad had his 57th birthday on November 23d. So we had a small birthday party while visiting. We sang "Happy Birthday" and then the Swedish birthday song "Ja må han leva".
This was really fun. I was very surprised to hear that Roger actually knows quite a lot of Swedish. So much fun for us. he surprised us many times while we were there. |

Breakfast, November 22nd.
Roger and Janet prepared a very nice breakfast for us. We were up quite early as we needed to get going. I asked janet if they had been up all night preparing our breakfast, because it was so nice. |

Group photo
My mom Kristina took this photo of the rest of us just before we left Roger and Janet. It was really hard leaving them this time - since I knew I might not see them in person for a very long time. I wish we lived closer...
Roger and Janet called us when we came back to Fort Lauderdale and I talked to them on the phone just an hour before we had to leave for the airport, to go back home to Sweden. |
