Gustaf Theodor Lindfors was born on November 23d. in 1864 in Hanebo Parish, Hälsingland, Sweden.

He worked as an Engraver and learned his profession in Gefle, Gästrikland, Sweden . He came to Worcester, MA, in April of 1886. He was famous for his god artistic ability, and did lots of beautiful artworks.

He married Ida Hanson in 1890 and had five children (that I know of!) (See Correction below!) One of his daughters Ella worked with him.

The image on the left is a perfect example of the kind of work Gustaf T.Lindfors made.

It is taken from a book named "Svenskarne i Worcester Mass. 1868 till 1898" (The Swedes in Worcester Mass. 1868 to 1898) where he is mentioned.

If anyone has any more information about him I gladly like to hear it.

According to the 1910 Census for Worcester, Holden, MA. it say's Gustaf Theodor Lindfors have 9 children, 6 of which 6 is still alive.

Ida Lindfors (Hanson) passed away on june 23d. 1941.

Gustaf Theodor passed away at the age of 86 on Feburary 2d. 1951 in his home in Worcester.
