Hope Cemetery

Hope Cemetery.

119 Webster Street, Worcester, MA 01603

Buried here
:

Bror Lindfors 18 y.o.

(This is probably Per Victor Lindfors son who remained in Worcester. But I still need to prove this theory.)

This is my Theory right now:

I believe the grave in Hope Cemetery, MA is Per Victor Lindfors son who remained in Worcester when the rest of the family left for Colorado.

In the transcript from the "Colorado Plains, Comanche Historical Society" it specifically say:

" Ann and Per V. Lindfors family came to Colorado in 1907, arriving in Strasburg, Colorado.  Their daughters, Svea and Freida came with the family, their son Bror remained in Worcester, Massachusetts from whence they came. "

In the 1900 Census for Worcester county, MA, Worcester city. 7th. ward, ED # 1773, page 183, sheet 12 A.

There is a Lindfors Bror, P.V.  born  Feb 1882, age at last birthday: 18 y.o. Single, Woodworker. Bording at Carl Johansson.

He fits the description well. But this means he would have passed in 1900, since the note about the grave in Hope Cemetery said he was 18 y.o. when he passed, and since the census was noted in June 0f 1900.

Now to something that spoils my theory.

In the 1903 Worcester , MA City Directory a Bror P. Lindfors , Woodworker, is listed at 9 May (I am wondering what this is? Is there a place in Worcester with this address?  9 May?  I am thinking maybe there is supposed to be a line here that says he passed May 9. I've seen this before!) , h.39 Bellevue.

And then in the 1918 Worcester, MA City Directory there is a Bror P V, Patternmaker listed.

So, this really confuses me. Were there two Bror P.V. Lindfors?  I think so.

In the Land and Patent Search there is a Bror P.V. who filed for a piece of land in Arapahoe County on march 23, 1911. This Bror in Colorado is the son of Erick Magnus Lindfors.  This Bror in Colorado was born around 1881 and Married a young woman named Agnes. All according to the 1910 Census of Arapahoe County, Byers,  CO. I haven't been able to find them in a later census and don't know what happened to them for sure. Maybe they went to Worcester, MA after 1911 and he is the one shown in 1918 Worcester city directory in MA as a patternmaker.

These are all the clues I have for now. If anyone of you have any thing that might be able to help me with this please e-mail me!
