Nicolina Josephina Christinas Bible
 

On the first page is written with old Swedish handwritten text:

" Niccolina Josephina Christina Grönbeck born on august 11^th 1825. This bible I received in 1834 on july the first when I moved from the Big Orphanage in Stockholm to my fosterparents Johan Petter Sandberg and wife M. Regina Nordberg in Delsbo.

Carl Magnus Lindfors, I was born in Söderhamn 1823 on November 14th.We were married in 1848 on June 24. Celebrates my first year in Torsåker with Nicolina  Josephina Christina Grönbeck from Stockholm.
 

1849
March 19^th. My little son Carl Mauritz was born at 8.30 in the morning in Torsåker.

1850
July 17^th. My little son Pehr Wicktor was born ¾ 0n 4 (I have no idea what time that is!) in Hanebo.

1852
July 17^th. My little son Johan Elias was born 10 at night in Hanebo.

1855
August 22. Erik Magnus was born 11 in the morning in Hanebo.

1857
December 22 My little son Mattias Leonard was born at 4 in the afternoon.

1860
October 17^th. My little son Jakopp Fredrik was born 11 in the morning.

1862
November 27^th. My little daughter Margaretha Christina was born. Dead on June 9^th. 1864."

(This is the last note in the bible. I don’t know why the notes stopped. I mean they had two more children.)

Carl Magnus Bible

Written in handwriting on the frontpage and then someone has typed a page and glued it into the book.

"This book belongs to C.M. Lindfors.

Carl Magnus Lindfors, born in Söderhamn 1823 on November 14th. Dead on September 15th in Polk County in Minnesota.

Wife Nikolina Josefina Christina. Born in Stockholm on August 1st 1825.

Son Carl Mauritz born March 19^th 1849 in Torsåker. Dead in Worchester Massachussetts North America in the hospital on June 27 1889.

Son Pehr Victor  born july 17 1850 in Hanebo.

Son Johan Elias born July 17 1852 in Hanebo.

Son Erik Magnus born August 22 1855 in Hanebo.

Son Mathias Leonard born December 22 1857 in Hanebo.

Son Jakopp Fredrik born October 17 1860 in Hanebo. Dead on june 5 1865

Daughter Margaretha Christina born November 27^th 1862 . Dead on June 9^th. 1864 in Hanebo.

Daughter Josephina Margareta born July 13 1870 in Hanebo. Dead September 21 1889 in the hospital in Söderhamn. 19 years 2 months and 8 days old."

Both Buried in Byers Colo.

Father

Per Vicktor Lindfors passed away Jan 7, 1921 at 8.30 p.m. Buried in Byers,Colo, Jan 11, 1921.

Mother

Anna O. Lindfors passed away May 26, 1912. Buried in Byers May 27, 1912.

Freda Victoria Benedict passed away Jan 25 and Buried Jan 28 at Riverside Cemetery, Ft. Lupton, CO.

This book belongs to Per Vicktor Lindfors.
Born in Hanebo and Hallen  on July 17th 1850 and I married on May 8th. 1876 to Anna Olsdotter born on March 4th 1844 in Hanebo and Hallen.

(Written afterwards:
Dead May 26th. 1912 Buried at Bayers Colo May 27th.)

The son Carl magnus born in Bollnäs on July 17th 1877, dead September 7th. 1877. Buried in Bollnäs Cemetery .

Daughter Anna Josephina Cristina born January 17th 1879 in Bollnäs.

Daughter Margret born in Bollnäs on March 25th 1881. Lived 9 hours. Was buried in Bollnäs.

Son Bror Per Victor born in Bollnäs on feb 13th 1882.
